How to Find Us

Camping du Bois de Saint Hilaire is within reach from anywhere in Europe, and is easy to find. Situated between the scenic Loire and Dordogne regions, our ideal location in the mid-west area of France means we are a short distance from the Futuroscope and Puy-du-Fou theme parks, the beautiful coastline including La Rochelle as well as the towns of Poitiers and Saumur.

Route number changes
Before you travel, please make sure that you have an up-to-date 2007 map or an updated sat-nav map, as some Routes National (N Roads) have been renumbered
as Routes Départemental (D Roads). This does not apply to the N149 that travels through Chalandray where we are located, but affects some other routes
including N147, N23 & N138.
If you are travelling from the UK, we are only 460 km (290 miles) from the port of Le Havre (served by LD Lines), 610km (380 miles) from Boulogne-sur-Mer (also served by LD Lines), and 640km (400 miles) from Calais and the Euro Tunnel. Our close proximity to Poitiers means that we are just 20 minutes from exit 29 of the A10 autoroute. Located beside the village of Chalandray on the N149 Poitiers to Parthenay route, we are easy to find:
From the crossroads in the town centre,
take the « Route de la Gare » (D24) towards Vouzailles. The campsite is sited just 750m
on the right hand side.
