The campsite is situated within the commune of Chalandray, the village centre just a 5 minute walk from the
camping. With a population of just over 650 persons, Chalandray is a typically small, French, rural village.
In the centre of Chalandray, the Greenwich Meridian line crosses through the village, which also passes through the woods of Camping du Bois de Saint Hilaire. |

Approximately 1.5km south-east of Chalandray is the ancient church of « Saint-Hilaire de Cramard. » This small church is open every day and is free to visit. It is also very peaceful.

The region surrounding the local town has much to offer
the old and young alike, with the relatively flat landscape ideal for walking and bike riding. With so much open countryside and so many
attractions, the problem will be deciding what to do!
